A new year calls for my first ever guest blog. The wonderful Kerry Ellis is the owner of Stay Curious Travel, a Chester based independent travel agency that specialises in finding unique family holidays.

I met Laura from Quietly Loud at Tarporley Business Club, a networking meeting, and she immediately struck me as warm and friendly.   

She’s not a ‘shout about how good I am’ type person, and so her copywriting business name ‘Quietly Loud’ is a perfect match.  Laura’s softly confident demeanour is what attracted me to her.   

I feel that if a copywriter had a very loud personality they would perhaps not be as good at projecting my voice in their work; it makes sense that Laura is more reserved than others I’ve met in business networking.  

What it’s like working with Laura as your website copywriter?  

We arranged a meeting to discuss what I wanted from her web copywriting, meeting at a local pub for a lovely lunch.  We bonded over our children and holidays that we’ve taken.   

Laura listened well to what I wanted in terms of content, tone and the feeling I wanted readers to have when they read her copywriting on my website.
